In honor of her .. American deputies are calling for the name of Kennedy’s opera in the name of Melania Trump

Republicans in the US House of Representatives are seeking to name the John F. Kennedy’s opera house in the name of First Lady Melania Trump.

The Republicans included an amendment to the draft law on spending the Ministry of Interior, called the Opera House at the Washington Performing Arts Center, “The Opera House, the First Lady Melania Trump.”

It is not clear whether the draft law will be in the House of Representatives, as well as the possibility of a bilateral agreement with the Senate.

The House of Representatives is scheduled to enter a vacation tomorrow, which leaves the legislators a limited time upon their return in September before government financing is depleted.

During the meeting of the House of Representatives Committee to discuss the draft law, Republican Mike Simpson, who submitted the amendment, said that he aims to “honor the first lady, the honorary president of the Kennedy Center Board.”

He stressed that it is “an excellent way to recognize Melania Trump’s support and commitment to enhancing the arts.”

The committee adopted the amendment by a majority of 35 votes for 22, and Democratic Representative Mary Glossingb Perez joined the Republicans of the committee to vote yes.
