"Abu Dhabi District" You participate in the Liwa Wet Festival
Al Dhafra on July 23/ WAM/ The Judicial Department – Abu Dhabi participates in the activities of the twenty -first edition of the Liwa Wet Festival 2025, held in Liwa, Al Dhafra, with a special wing that displays a group of products of reform and rehabilitation centers.
Participation comes within the framework of the department’s keenness to enhance attendance in societal, cultural and heritage activities, and to support efforts aimed at preserving national heritage.
The department’s wing during the festival, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, displays the products of the centers from the wet, in addition to a group of crafts that reflect the skills and creativity of inmates, and highlights the efforts of the department to rehabilitate them with the aim of enabling them to acquire practical skills that support their positive integration into society after the end of the punishment period to return good and productive individuals.
During the festival, the department also highlights the efforts to preserve the traditional crafts and industries, and to pay attention to its production and development operations within the reform and rehabilitation centers, in proportion to the cultural identity of the UAE.
