5 preventive measures to protect from dust waves during the summer
The Ministry of Health and Community Protection has identified 5 preventive measures aimed at protecting individuals from the effects of dust waves, which are considered common phenomena during the summer, stressing the importance of adhering to them in order to preserve public health.
The ministry explained that when the air becomes loaded with dust, it is advised to stay at home until the weather improves, while emphasizing the importance of closing doors and windows tightly to prevent dust from entering the interior, as it recommended wearing the muzzle, due to its role in purifying the air and protecting the lungs from the volatile molecules, in addition to wearing sunglasses when leaving to protect the eyes from dust and reducing eye irritation.
She added that in cases of asthma and allergies, emergency sprays (ambulance sprays) is a necessary tool during wind blowing, calling on asthma and allergies to ensure that the sprayer is always carried and used when symptoms such as shortness of breath or coughing appear.
