6 % increased in Saudi non -oil exports during May 2025

According to the International Trade Report issued by the Statistics Authority, non -petroleum patriotism (except for re -export) decreased by 1.8%.
Decreased commodity exports
The value of re -exported goods increased to 20.5% in the same period. Meanwhile, the commodity exports decreased in May 2025 by 14% from the same month last year.
The decline in the decrease in petroleum exports came by 21.8%, while the percentage of petroleum exports decreased from the total total exports from 72.1%in May 2024 m to 65.6%, in the same month of the current year.
As for imports, it increased in May 2025 by 7.8%, and when looking at the merchandise trade balance, the surplus decreased by 68.4% from May 2024.
The “machines, devices and equipment and their parts are among the most important non -oil exports ladder, and constituted 23.7% of the total non -oil exports, while it increased from May 2024 m by 99.8%, followed by” chemical industries products “(representing 22.8% of the total non -oil exports), which increased by 0.4% from May 2024 m.
On the other hand, the most important imported goods were “machines, devices and electrical equipment and their parts”, which constitute 29.7% of the total imports, and increased by 23% from May 2024 AD, then “transport equipment and its parts”, which constitute 11.4% of the total imports, which decreased by 9.2% from May 2024 AD.
China is the main partner of Saudi Arabia
China is the main destination for Saudi exports, which constituted 14% of the total exports in May 2025, followed by the United Arab Emirates (by 11.2% of the total exports) and then India (by 8.9% of the total exports).
South Korea, Japan, the United States of America, Egypt, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Malta and Malaysia were among the 10 most important countries exported, and the total exports of Saudi Arabia to those ten countries reached 64.4% of the total exports.
China is ranked first of Saudi imports, which constituted 28.9% of total imports in May 2025, followed by the United States of America (7.5% of the total imports and then the United Arab Emirates with 6.3% of the total imports).
India, Japan, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Egypt and France were among the 10 most important countries from them, and the total value of Saudi imports from those ten countries reached 67.6% of the total imports.
The 5 most important customs outlets
King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam is one of the most important ports through which goods were crossed to Saudi Arabia, which is equivalent to 26.4%of the total imports in May 2025, followed by other main outlets, which are Jeddah Islamic Port by 21.6%, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with 13.8%and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah by 10.9%, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam by 5.3%.
These five outlets accounted for 78.1% of the total commodity imports of Saudi Arabia.
