10.2 billion dirhams the value of the capital registered with the economy of Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al -Khaimah on July 25 / WAM / A report issued by the Department of Economic Development in Ras Al -Khaimah revealed that the amount of capital of the total valid licenses registered in the department increased during the first half of 2025, by 14.5%, to reach 10.2 billion dirhams, indicating that the total number of licenses in the emirate recorded a growth of 6% during the first half compared to the same period last year.
The report pointed out that the industrial licenses topped the higher growth list by 14.3%, while the valid licenses valued by 6%, followed by commercial licenses with a growth of 5%.
Amina Qahtan, Director of Commercial Affairs Department in the department, said that these results reflect the continued momentum of the economic growth witnessed by the emirate, supported by the guidance of good leadership and a set of facilities and procedures that contributed to enhancing the flexibility of business practice and attracting investors.
She pointed out that the number of new licenses exported during the first half witnessed an increase of 17.6%, while industrial licenses recorded the highest growth rates by 111%, and the growth rate of commercial licenses reached 12.6%, and professionalism is about 20%.
She added that the total capital of the new licenses increased by 7.5% to 495 million dirhams, compared to 460 million dirhams last year, and the capital of professional licenses recorded 40%, while the capital of industrial licenses doubled about 6.7 times to 47.5 million dirhams.
