"Abu Dhabi Ports" It opens its first office in China

Abu Dhabi, July 24 / WAM / Abu Dhabi Ports Group announced the official opening of its first international office in the People’s Republic of China, in a qualitative step within its strategy to expand its presence on the international scene. The new international office was established in the heart of the capital, Beijing, the Center for Policy and Planning in China, through which the group will manage planning and coordination of its commercial and investment activities throughout China and the Asia region in general. In order to complete the group network, which includes more than 140 offices around the world, the office was opened by Samir Chatufidi, CEO of “Logistics” and the CEO of Business and International at the Abu Dhabi Ports Group; Abdel Aziz Zayed Al Shamsi, Regional CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Group; Elie Hue – General Director of “Logistics” in Greater China. The office will contribute to strengthening direct communication channels with the relevant government agencies, strategic partners, large dealers and investors, in addition to supporting the group’s efforts in harmonizing its activities with the priorities of development in China, and the rapid response to promising opportunities in the areas of trade and logistical services. The office will also work as the headquarters of the new commercial branch of “Logistics”, the logistics arm of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group, in the Beijing -Tianjin region, which is a major local market of more than 110 million people. The office will play a pivotal role in promoting the group’s presence inside China and along the Chinese “Belt and Road” network, including marine roads linking Asia, Africa and Europe, and the multimedia wild corridors linking the markets of China, Central Asia, the Middle East and Europe. The group will also take a strategic platform through which it will be launched to link customers and potential investors to the integrated business and logistical business system provided by the group worldwide, as well as coordination of investment activities, establishing new commercial projects, and facilitating the flow of Chinese capital to the United Arab Emirates. On this occasion, Captain Mohamed Jumaa Al Shamsi, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, said that China is at the head of the exporting countries, which is a major engine to enhance supply chains, and plays a pivotal role in re -perception of international trade, stressing their role in China’s participation in its ambitious vision towards achieving more cross -border integration. He explained that through the new international office in Beijing, the group will work closely with its Chinese partners to support the expansion of local, regional and international commercial corridors, and to provide leading solutions in the fields of shipping, infrastructure and logistical services, looking to increase the volume of joint investment flow, and achieve a long -term value for dealers, investors and societies. The group will seek to enhance the potential of “logistics” in the country, and to provide a comprehensive package of integrated logistical solutions and services, designed specifically to meet the needs of the fast -growing domestic market in China, which is expected to grow its gross domestic product with an annual growth rate of 3.5% until 2030. Given the expectations that indicate the growth of the logistical services market in China with a growth rate of growth An annual complex of 4.6% until 2030, the group will seek to highlight its leading position in the logistical services sector, by supporting the various industrial sectors in China along the supply chain.
