Syria – the United Nations continues to support the displaced people due to violence in As -Suwayda

Farhan Haq Haq, a member of the United Nations spokesman, said that the humanitarian workers visited the Sayyida Zainab region, and that they intend to visit Daraa Governorate, where relief workers support tens of thousands of displaced people.

In As -Suwayda yesterday, aid brought by a caravan of the Syrian Red Crescent was distributed. Medical supplies have also been delivered to the National Hospital.

At the daily press conference, the spokesman stated that the United Nations continues to engage with the Syrian authorities and partners to facilitate direct access to As -Suwayda.

In the Damascus countryside and Daraa, United Nations partners expand the scope of protecting the displaced people, including psychological -social aid and children’s support. Community centers and mobile teams also provide legal and medical referrals.
