An Emirati delegation is looking to enhance cooperation in the aviation sector with China
BEIJING, on July 26 / WAM / The delegation of the civil aviation sector in the country … enhancing technical and commercial cooperation in the civil aviation sector, with the relevant authorities in China and pushing the strategic partnership between the two countries to broader horizons.
The delegation was chaired by His Excellency Saif Muhammad Al -Suwaidi, Director General of the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
His Excellency Saif Al -Suwaidi stressed that the Emirati -Chinese cooperation in the field of aviation is witnessing a continuous development, supported by strategic agreements and solid bilateral relations, noting that the visit aims to expand the areas of partnership, especially in the areas of manufacturing, technical licenses and exchange of experiences.
The official visit included field tours in the city of Shanghai, where the delegation held meetings with a number of leading Chinese companies, including “Komak” for commercial aircraft industry, “T-Kap” technology, “Auto Flight International” and “Citic La” specialized in air navigation systems.
The delegation also toured the establishments of the company “Kumak”, during which he met the vice president of the company, and industrial and technical cooperation opportunities were discussed between the two sides.
In the capital, Beijing, official meetings with the Chinese Civil Aviation Administration and the provider of air navigation services, where the two parties discussed ways of cooperation in the areas of organization, maintenance, licenses, air navigation, and institutional development.
The visit was concluded with the meeting of His Excellency Saif Mohamed Al -Suwaidi and members of the state delegation with His Excellency Song Cheung, head of the Chinese Civil Aviation Department, during which the prospects for future cooperation were reviewed and emphasized the strength of bilateral relations in the field of civil aviation.
