The UAE is winning 6 medals in the World Parachute Jumping Championships in Italy

Ravenna – Italy on July 27 / WAM / The UAE team won 6 colored medals in the world championship that concluded yesterday in the Italian city of Ravenna, with the participation of a group of the world’s most prominent players in this sport.
The star Abdel Bari Qubaisi crowned 4 medals, including the golden “accuracy of the goal”, three silver in the overall ranking and the “distance” and “free parade (Free Style)”, after a distinguished performance during which he crowned the full mark in the first and second rounds, combining 291 points in the overall to occupy the second place in the overall ranking.
The team player, Colina Mohai Maliti, also won the silver in the “speed” and bronze category in the “Free Style” category.
The team’s mission presented this achievement to the wise leadership in appreciation of its continuous support for the sport of umbrellas, to the Ministry of Sports, and the Emirates Air Sports Federation.
The mission emphasized that this success reflects the extent of the interest that the game receives in the country, and the continuous development witnessed by the sport of Emirati parachute on the global scene.
Mohamed Youssef Abdel Rahman, Secretary -General of the Emirates Air Sports Federation, praised the honorable performance of the team’s players, thanking the “Sky Dive Dubai” family for its role in the success of the preparation period.
