Abu Dhabi, July 29/ WAM/ The resumption of air projection operations for humanitarian and relief aid over the Gaza Strip, which is implemented by the UAE in the framework of the “Al -Faris 3” operation and within the operations of “Birds of Goodness” in cooperation with the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on sustaining the Emirati support for the brotherly Palestinian people in the sector in all possible ways and ways, and securing various forms of food, health and water aid and other requirements for daily life.
The intense Emirati diplomatic efforts around the world succeeded in resuming the operations of “birds of good” after a hiatus of about nine months due to the developments of the war, as the Emirati insistence on resuming these operations came from their vital role in alleviating the suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people, as it has contributed since its inception in the delivery of about 3750 tons of food and relief, which included basic foodstuffs and vital supply The urgent needs of families affected by the difficult and inherited humanitarian conditions in the sector.
On February 29, 2024, the Joint Operations Command announced the launch of the “Birds of Goodness” operation to drop humanitarian and relief aid by the Air Force Air Force and the Air Force Air Force of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the northern Gaza Strip, where the first drop was carried out by joint crews from both countries, through 3 aircraft carrying about 36 tons of food and medical assistance, which were landed in areas Jabalia and Beit Lahia.
Since its launch, the operations of “Birds of Goodness” have completed the triangle of the triangle of ways to deliver Emirati aid to the Gaza Strip, in land, sea and air, and this diversity has had a prominent impact that Emirati aid constitute 44% of the total international aid to the Gaza Strip until now, according to international reports.
The “Birds of Goodness” process contributed to accelerating the arrival of urgent aid to the needy in the Gaza Strip, which is being lowered by custom boxes equipped with a technology to direct the “GPS” system, with the aim of delivering them to the specific sites and within the appropriate times.
The “GPS” system is characterized by the process as an advanced technology used in the field of dropping aid from the air, by identifying accurate and easy to target sites and then drop them to reach the targets, and is considered one of the latest means currently used in the field of humanitarian and relief work during emergency cases.
The operations of “Birds of Goodness” are a bright aspect of a great humanitarian plate drawn by the UAE in supporting the healing of the Palestinians inside the Gaza Strip through the “Al -Faris 3” operation that started on November 5, 2023, by order of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him.
On March 31, the process of “Al -Shahh Al -Shahhi completed 500 days of continuous giving, and the total aid provided during this period reached more than 65,000 tons of food, medical and relief items, with a value exceeding $ 1.2 billion, which were delivered through various air, land and marine means to ensure support for those in need as soon as possible.
In the framework of the “Al -Faris 3” operation, the UAE established many initiatives that included the establishment of two field hospitals, the first in the Gaza Strip, and the second is a floating hospital off the coast of the city of Al -Arish.
In the context of efforts to secure the basic needs, six desalination plants that produce two million gallons were created daily that are pumped into the Gaza Strip, to provide pure drinking water to the affected people, and 21 field bakeries were operated to produce bread per day, in addition to 50 charities that provide hot meals daily to the affected families.
