A strategic partnership between the Ministry of Health and the behavioral science group to implement health and community policies

Abu Dhabi, July 29 / WAM / The Ministry of Health and Community Protection launched a strategic partnership with the behavioral science group at the Office of Development Affairs at the Presidential Court, with the aim of employing the methodology of behavioral visions in designing and implementing health and community policies, and within the framework of the strategic directions of the UAE towards promoting the quality of life and community health.
This comes in line with government trends towards more proactive and centered services around society, especially with regard to the inclusion of behavioral sciences in government initiatives by designing evidence based on evidence that enhances adopting healthy lifestyles, and enhancing the efficiency of policies and health services.
This strategic partnership contributes to raising the level of the quality of social life for all members of society, and embodies the commitment of the two parties to develop innovative solutions based on human health, and depends on data and scientific research to ensure a concrete and sustainable impact.
The scope of cooperation between the two sides will include the supervision of the experts of the behavioral science group to implement specialized programs to build capabilities and develop skills that benefit the Ministry of Health and Community Protection employees, as well as employing advanced technologies such as the use of artificial intelligence applications to support behavioral diagnosis and design accurate and effective interventions based on an in -depth understanding of the behavior of community members in vital areas such as public health and sustainable development.
His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Salim Al -Ulama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, stressed the importance of this strategic partnership between the two parties, as it is a pivotal station within the framework of the ministry’s strategy towards building a more proactive, innovative and sustainable health system, and is based on promoting human health first, and is based on an accurate scientific understanding of societal behavior in general.
He pointed out that the integration of behavioral insight into designing health policies and raising the level of health awareness supports the adoption of preventive lifestyles in a manner consistent with the Ministry’s vision in building an integrated preventive and treatment system based on innovation and digital data, and corresponds to the vision of “We Emirates 2031”, as this partnership will enhance commitment to rational governance, and provide high -quality health services that are managed with specialized competencies, It is designed according to the needs and aspirations of society.
Rabie Abu Shaqra, Executive Director of the Office of Development Affairs, stressed the importance of this strategic partnership that reflects the common vision between the two sides that behavioral sciences be an effective tool in supporting public policies and decision -making, because of its multiple tools and methods to design realistic solutions based on evidence that takes into account the privacy of the Emirati context and serves the state’s aspirations in promoting the quality of community life.
