52 thousand tax vehicles in Ajman during the first half

Ajman, July 31/ WAM/ The Ajman Transport Authority registered 52,078 requests for taxis during the first half of 2025, through various reservation channels, compared to 54,539 applications during the same period in 2024.
Statistics showed a remarkable improvement in the demand for the smart application “ROUTE”, as the number of trips carried out through the application reached 23,243 trips during the first half of 2025, compared to 15,987 trips during the first half of 2024, with a growth rate of about 45.4%, which reflects the increasing confidence of customers of digital services and the ease of use of the application.
On the other hand, the communication center recorded 80070 28,835 requests during the first half of 2025, compared to 38,552 applications during the same period from 2024, indicating that users gradually move towards smart channels instead of traditional means.
His Excellency Omar Mohamed Lootah, Director General of the Transport Authority, Ajman, said that the results of the first half confirms the success of the digital transformation strategy in the taxi vehicle sector, which requires continuing to strengthen smart channels and develop the user experience, in a way that keeps pace with the aspirations of the public and supports the Authority’s goals in providing smart and sustainable transport services.
The Ajman Transport Authority currently provides two main options for requesting taxi vehicles through the “ROTE” smart application, available at smart phone stores for “iOS” and “Android” systems or through the connection center on the 80070 free number, around the clock.
The authority is constantly promoting the application features and linking it to the artificial intelligence system, to provide a faster and more accurate reservation experience, while maintaining the quality of the service and the efficiency of the fleet.
