Al Ain hosts the Emirates Golf Cup with the participation of 52 countries next December

Al Ain, July 31/ WAM/ Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club will host the second edition of the Emirates Cup for golf enthusiasts, during the period from 11 to 14 December.
The event is witnessing the participation of 180 players and players from 52 countries, representing the elite amateur players on the global scene, in one of the largest amateur tournaments in the region, and is part of the international amateur rankings.
The Emirates Cup championship represents a new station in the golf development process, embodying the state’s commitment to supporting high competitions and developing talents in all age groups and is one of the most prominent activities included in the golf calendar for this year, and provides an opportunity for local, Gulf and Arab talents to prove their existence, in a distinctive competitive atmosphere.
Major General Tayyar (M) Abdullah Al -Sayed Al -Hashemi, Vice President of the Emirates Golf Federation, stressed that the tournament reflects the Federation’s vision in developing the game at all levels, and providing real platforms for competition.
He pointed out that the volume of wide participation reflects the great confidence in the UAE’s organizational capabilities and the advanced position occupied by the country on the global sports arena.
