Salloum as head of “Bahraini Omani Entrepreneurship” … and 5 committees to enhance leadership and innovation

The Board of Directors of the Bahraini -Omani Business Pioneers Association held its meeting last Thursday, to discuss future plans, distribute administrative positions and form work committees, in the context of seeking to enhance the association’s role in supporting the entrepreneurs in Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency MP Ahmed Sabah Al -Salloum, and Her Highness, Mrs. Hajija bint Jeffer bin Saif Al Said, and a number of members of the Council, where Al -Salloum welcomed the attendees, praising the importance of the next stage that requires coordination and integration among the members to achieve the goals of the association.

The meeting witnessed the recommendation of Al -Salloum as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Muhammad Al -Tamami as his deputy, as well as the appointment of Sherine Jani as a financial secretary, and Maha Al -Muqbalia as Secretary, and the choice of the rest of the members for administrative positions. Mrs. Hajija Al Said, the association’s executive president, was also appointed, in a move confirming the association’s support for the role of women in entrepreneurship.

In a move aimed at organizing work within the association, the formation of five specialized committees was approved, where each of:

– The Public Relations and Events Committee, headed by Amr Baaboud, which will work to enhance communication with society and coordinate events that enhance the association’s vision.

– The Business and Sustainability Development Committee, headed by Ali Shaker, which will focus on developing programs and initiatives that support the growth of small and medium business.

– Membership Committee, headed by Ahmed Al -Busaidi, which will attract new members and enhance the effective participation of the current members of the association.

The Real Estate Committee, headed by Jawad Al -Hali, which will consider available real estate opportunities and advise members about investing in this sector.

The Food Committee, which aims to enhance innovation in the food and beverage sector and support emerging projects in this field.

These steps come within the framework of the association’s vision to be a leader in supporting entrepreneurs and promoting innovation and sustainability in Bahrain and Oman. The formation of these committees will enhance the association’s ability to respond to the challenges and opportunities available in the market.

The meeting stressed the importance of coordination between the committees to achieve common goals, expressing their optimism about the future of the association and its role in stimulating entrepreneurship and enhancing innovation and economic integration between Bahrain and Oman.
