“Sharjah Electricity” accomplishes the installation of 17.7 thousand rationalization tools for the beneficiaries

Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority has completed the installation of 6228 of water rationalization and tools, and 11546 of electricity rationalization pieces after visiting 1610 beneficiaries in Sharjah, with a total of 17774 since the announcement of the start of the new phase of the House rationalization initiative in mid -April, and more than 7,000 of those with an inflation allowance in the Emirate of Sharjah benefit from it. The Executive Director of Institutional Support Services at the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, Majed Harim Al Shamsi, said that “the initiative to rationalize houses contributes to rationalizing consumption, reducing the value of bills for beneficiaries and achieving sustainability, as it contributed to reducing water consumption by 63%, and reducing lighting consumption by 55% in the previous stages implemented by the authority.”

The Director of the Media and Communication Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, Rashid Al Marzouqi, said that the initiative aims to educate and educate families and domestic workers in methods and behaviors to rationalize the consumption of electricity and correct water, through several awareness initiatives.
