Foreign exchange reserves for Egypt exceeds 49 billion dollars for the first time in years

Cairo, August 5 / WAM / The Central Bank of Egypt announced that the net cash reserves of foreign currencies increased to 49.036 billion dollars at the end of July 2025, compared to about 48.700 billion dollars at the end of June, an increase of 336 million dollars.
This level of reserve is the highest in several years, as it rose by about $ 1.2 billion in the last three months, after in May 2025 he recorded about 47.82 billion dollars.
