The construction sector in Dubai is registered with more than 30,000 licensing demands during the first half of 2025

Dubai, August 6 / WAM / Dubai Municipality announced the achievement of distinguished results in the construction sector, as construction licensing requests exceeded during the first half of the year 2025 the 30,000 barrier of transactions, an increase of 20 hundred per hundred compared to the same period last year.
The new construction spaces and licensed additions reached more than 5.5 million square meters, which are ready for implementation at a time when July recorded a record number of more than a million square meters of new licensed areas.
The percentage of licensed spaces was distributed during the first half of 2025 to record multi -storey commercial and investment projects 45 percent of the licensed spaces, which reflects the increasing confidence in the business environment and investment opportunities in the emirate.
Residential villas also acquired 40 percent of the total licensed areas by more than 2 million square meters, while industrial and public buildings formed 15 percent.
Engineer Maryam Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Foundation for the Organization and License of Buildings in Dubai Municipality, said that these statistics confirm the pioneering site of Dubai as one of the leading global destinations in the construction and construction sector, which is witnessing a remarkable growth that reflects the sustainable economic growth of the emirate.
