“Food Safety” closes the “Egyptian bakery” in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority issued a decision to close the administrative closure of the “Egyptian Bakery” facility, which carries the commercial license (1852988 CN-) in Abu Dhabi, for violating Law No. (2) of 2008 regarding food in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the legislation issued according to it, and its danger to public health.
The authority explained that the food control report stated that the decision to close the facility was the result of the repetition of food safety violations, and the failure to implement effective corrective measures, which necessitated taking immediate action that guarantees food safety and the health of consumer.
She emphasized that the administrative closure order will continue until the reasons for the violation will disappear, with the possibility of resuming the activity after correcting the conditions of the entire facility, and adhering to all the requirements of food safety.
She pointed out that the administrative closure and the detection of abuses come within the authority’s plan to enhance the food safety system in Abu Dhabi, and to undergo all food facilities to search for a periodic inspection to ensure its compliance with the requirements, with a focus on the pre -emptive protection of consumers, and to ensure the commitment of all facilities to food safety requirements.
The authority appealed to the public to communicate with it, and to report any violations that are monitored in any food facility or when doubting the contents of the food matter by calling the free number of the Abu Dhabi government 800555 to take the necessary action, leading to a safe and sound food for all members of society in Abu Dhabi.
