He continued: «The friendly matches allow the coach the opportunity to stand on the extent of the players’ absorption of his method and style, as it allows him to evaluate the technical capabilities closely, and the team is facing a historic opportunity to qualify for the World Cup, and it must be exploited, because the alternative will be to enter the cycle of complex accounts.

Mesfer emphasized that the offensive side in the national team currently includes a large number of options, especially after the joining of a wide range of new players, pointing out that summoning five new faces for the first time constitutes real support for the team, and contributes to compensation for the shortage and created a strong competition between the players, stressing that the coach is always required to choose the best, especially with the presence of elements that have recently obtained Emirati citizenship.
