Inflation in the Czechs decreased to 2.7%

The latest data for the Czech Statistical Office yesterday showed that the rate of consumer inflation during last July declined, in agreement with estimates.
Consumer prices increased by 2.7% on an annual basis in July, compared to 2.9% in June, in agreement with the initial data published on the fifth of August.
On an annual basis, the rate of inflation of food, drinks and tobacco prices decreased to 5.2%, compared to 6.2%, and the rate of transportation for transportation prices, clothes and shoes decreased by 1.7%.
Consumer prices increased by 0.5% on a monthly basis, in agreement with estimates.
