A joint statement on developments in the Gaza Strip

Abu Dhabi, August 9 / WAM / The ministerial committee charged with the extraordinary Arab Islamic Summit on developments in the Gaza Strip, which includes the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Indonesia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the State of Palestine, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Turkey, the League of Arab States, the Islamic Cooperation Organization, in addition to the Republic of Nigeria Bangladesh Popular, the Republic of Chad, the Republic of Djibouti, the Republic of Gambia, the State of Kuwait, the State of Libya, Malaysia, the Islamic Republic of Mauritanian, the Sultanate of Oman, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, and the Republic of Yemen for their strong condemnation and their categorical refusal to declare Israel to impose military control. Complete on the Gaza Strip, and considers that this declaration constitutes a dangerous and rejected escalation, a violation of international law, an attempt to perpetuate the illegal occupation and impose a fait accompli by force that is incompatible with the relevant international legitimacy decisions.
We affirm that this trend announced by Israel comes as a continuation of its grave violations based on killing and starvation and attempts to forced displacement and annexing the Palestinian land and terrorist terrorists, which may rise to crimes against humanity, as it dispels any opportunity to achieve peace, undermine regional and international efforts to calm down and end the conflict, and doubles the severe violations against the Palestinian people, who faces Over the course of 22 months, a comprehensive aggression and blockade affected all aspects of life in the Gaza Strip and serious violations in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
In view of this dangerous development, we stress the following:
• The necessity of the immediate and comprehensive endowment of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and to stop the continuous violations committed by the occupation forces against civilians and infrastructure in the Strip, the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
• Ask Israel, as the occupying force, to allow urgent and unconditional to enter humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, including sufficient needs of food, medicine and fuel, and ensuring the freedom to work for relief agencies and international humanitarian organizations in accordance with international humanitarian law and international humanitarian standards in force.
• Supporting efforts to the ceasefire, which is made by the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar, and the United States of America, to reach an agreement to exchange prisoners and hostages, as it is a basic humanitarian entrance to reduce escalation, reduce suffering and end the Israeli aggression.
• The necessity of working on the immediate start of implementing the Arab Islamic plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, and the call to participate effectively in the conference on the reconstruction of Gaza to be held in Cairo soon.
• Rejection and condemnation of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and we emphasize the need to preserve the legal and historical situation in Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, while recognizing the basic role played by the Hashemite guardianship in this regard.
• Emphasizing that a fair and permanent peace can only be achieved by implementing a two -state solution, ensuring the embodiment of the independent Palestinian state on the fourth lines of June 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the principles of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.
We hold the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the crimes of genocide and the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe that the Gaza Strip is witnessing, and calls on the international community, especially the permanent members of the Security Council, to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities, and the urgent action to stop the Israeli aggressive policies, which aim to undermine the opportunities to achieve a fair and permanent peace and eliminate the prospects of implementing a two -state solution and achieve a fair and comprehensive peace, and work to hold immediate accountability for all violations It is carried out by Israel against international and international humanitarian law, including what is up to genocide.
We also emphasize the need to work on implementing the high -level conference outputs of the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and implementing the two -state solution that was held in New York headed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of France, and what included in the final document of urgent executive measures within a timetable to end the war in Gaza, and to adhere to a political path for the comprehensive peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and implement the two -state solution.
