Abdullah bin Zayed receives the Prime Minister of Lebanon on the sidelines of the World Government Summit
Dubai, 4 February / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Dr. Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic, on the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai.
During the meeting, they discussed the fraternal relations between the two countries, various paths of cooperation and joint work, and ways to strengthen them in a way that serves the mutual interests of the two countries and meets the aspirations of their brotherly peoples for development and prosperity.
His Highness and Dr. Nawaf Salam touched on a number of topics on the agenda of the World Government Summit, related to promoting comprehensive development in societies.
During the meeting, the two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues and files of common interest, and exchanged views on them.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the depth of brotherly relations with the sisterly Lebanese Republic, and the UAE’s support for everything that achieves development and prosperity for Lebanon and its people.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, and His Excellency Fahd Salem Al Kaabi, the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Lebanon.
