Emirati professionals crowned the winners of the season prizes

Abu Dhabi, August 9/ WAM/ The UAE Professional Association held its award ceremony for the Sports season 2024-2025 at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi in the presence of Emirati football stars, clubs, and a number of officials.
During the celebration, success partners were honored by the sponsors of the Emirati Professional Association, for their effective role in organizing and developing the various competitions organized by, and media institutions, in the country.
Al -Ahly youth champion last season dominated the League awards, as the team star Sardar Azmoun crowned the Golden Ball Award for the best player in the season, and the Portuguese coach of the team coach, the captain’s award for the best coach, while Al -Ahly’s youth goalkeeper Hamad Al -Maqbali won the Golden Glove Award for the best goalkeeper, and Guelo Dasselva won the team of the Golden Boy Award for the best under -23 player.
The winners of the season prizes were also revealed according to the fans ’vote, and the Golden Ball award for this category, Mohamed Al -Nani, the player of Al -Jazeera, was also revealed, while the goal of his teammate in Al Ain goalkeeper Nabil Faqir won the award for the most beautiful goal.
With regard to the awards based on statistics, the Al Ain player, Lapa Codjo, won the Golden Boot Award for the ADNOC Professional League, scoring 20 goals, and won the Golden Boot Award for the goal of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, Ramon Meris, the player of Al -Jazeera, while Al -Wahda player Mansour Al -Menhalia won the silver shoe award for the U -23 League.
With regard to club awards, Al Ain Club won the League of Family Award, and Al -Jazira Club won the Excellence Award for Professionalism and Licensing.
During the ceremony, the Emirati Professional Association launched its new visual logo and identity, as the new slogan of the League bears the blue color, in the name of “UAE PL” and this change is the fourth in the history of the association since its foundation.
His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Al -Junaibi, President of the Professional Association, First Vice President of the Emirates Football Association, revealed in his speech during the Association Awards ceremony about the high market value of the ADNOC Professional League competition to 2.6 billion dirhams, and the high championship views to 44 million views, in addition to 730 million views in various social media platforms of the association.
He stressed in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” that the next season of the ADNOC Professional League is awaiting a large rival among all the teams that have prepared a distinctive way during the last period, whether through contracts with the players or their preparations in external camps, explaining that the new season will witness many qualitative and distinctive initiatives to support the mass attendance.
Al -Junaibi thanked the wise leadership for its great and unlimited support, the strategic partners, the media, and the masses with the great imprint in this successful work at all levels, pointing out that the season award ceremony has become a platform to honor the creators and distinguished people who contributed to the success of the UAE Professional Association competitions.
For their part, a number of winners of the season prizes expressed their happiness at the coronation at the ceremony, and Al -Ahly youth coach Paulo Souza confirmed that this honor was a great motive for him and the team in order to preserve what he reached last season and the coronation in the quadruple.
Al -Ahly youth goalkeeper Hamad Al -Maqbali said that standing on the coronation platform at the season award ceremony is the best honor after a long and arduous season, he was finally crowned with four titles, stressing that the team still has a lot in the coming season.
Al -Jazeera player Mohamed Al -Nani expressed Fakhhhi by obtaining this award, which came to the audience’s vote, stressing that it is a great pride and honor for him for more success and excellence with his team during the next season.
