The actress Carmen Suleiman defended the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab after the controversy raised by her concert at the conclusion of the Mawazine Festival, noting that she opened the festival and achieved remarkable success with the Moroccan audience, and also sent a message of support to Sherine and expressed her willingness to cooperate with her in the future.

“It is very happy with the success of my party at the Mawazine Festival and the proud of that I opened an international festival like Mawazine,” Carmen said in a press conference.

She added: “Sherine Abdel Wahab is not an artist that I speak to two words, she is a very big artist, and she has a great history, I love her, and I see that her concert at a very successful scales festival.”

She continued: “I do not know what happened at the same party, but the videos that I saw showed that the party was one of the most successful parties that I used in the Mawazine Festival, and I would like, of course, in our cooperation during the period that came, I will remain very happy.”
