The head of state congratulates the President of Azerbaijan on the Azerbaijani Peace Agreement

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, congratulated during a phone call today … His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of the signing of the historical peace agreement between the Republics of Azerbaijan and Armenia recently.
During the call, His Highness expressed his best wishes that the agreement would be a prelude to a new stage of cooperation between the two countries in a way that is good for their people and enhances peace and stability in the Caucasus region for the benefit of all their peoples.
His Highness affirmed that the UAE’s permanent approach to supporting everything leads to settling conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic methods for good and prosperity for all peoples.
For his part, His Excellency Ilham Aliyev expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the President of the State for the sincere diplomatic efforts made by the United Arab Emirates to consolidate peace, stability and regional and global security.
During the contact, the two sides also discussed the relations of the two countries and joint work between them to expand their horizons, especially in the fields of economics, investment and other aspects that serve common interests and contribute to achieving the sustainable development goals in the two countries.
