35.5 thousand new companies join the membership of the “Dubai Chamber” in the first half

Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three rooms operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber, revealed its most prominent results for the first half of 2025, which reflects its efforts to enhance the competitiveness of the local economy, and embodies its contribution to achieving the targets of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce witnessed the joining of 35,532 new companies to its membership during the first half of this year, with a growth rate of 4% compared to the same period last year, which reflects the attractiveness of the business environment in the emirate, and the continued flow of foreign direct investment at a growing pace that establishes Dubai’s position as a global destination for investments.
The value of exports and re -exports of the Chamber’s members reached 171.9 billion dirhams, a growth of 18% compared to the same period last year, while the Chamber issued 409,083 certificates of origin, an increase of 10% compared to the first half 2024. While during the first half of the year, the Chamber issued and received 2961 temporary entries for goods for goods and goods of 1.94 billion dirhams.
A global axis for trade

Support international expansion
Dubai Chamber of Commerce succeeded during the first half of this year, and through its various programs and initiatives in supporting the global expansion of 60 local companies, recording a growth of 76% compared to 34 companies whose expansion was supported in the external markets during the same period in 2024.
Within the framework of the “New Prospects for External Expansion” initiative, which allows Dubai -based companies the opportunity to join commercial missions, and to explore more opportunities in selected international markets, the Chamber organized two commercial missions to Southeast Asia that included Thailand and the Philippines, and to Africa included Angola and Mozambique, and 1076 bilateral work meeting between Dubai participating companies was organized Commercial missions with local companies in those markets.
Competitiveness of the legislative system
During the first half of this year 2025, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with business groups, reviewed 27 laws and a draft law, with a ratio of accreditation for the recommendations of the private sector of 60%, compared to 46% during the first half of the year 2024, while 98 meetings were held with groups and business councils, an increase of 104% compared to the same period last year. During the first half, the Chamber established five new business councils representing the nationalities of investors from Brazil, Slovakia, Peru, Indonesia and Hungary.
As part of its efforts to enhance awareness of laws and legislation, the Chamber organized during the first half of this year 19 activities that varied between seminars and awareness workshops on the legislative and legal system, attended by 1414 participants from the business community representatives.
During the first half of this year, the Chamber also received 94 mediation cases, an increase of 19% on an annual basis, as the total value of issues exceeded 213.5 million dirhams.
Dubai Family Companies Center
During the first half of this year, the Dubai Center for Family Companies, which works under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber, continued its efforts to ensure the sustainability and growth of family companies, as a guide for family companies in Dubai was issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai in partnership with the Dubai Family Companies Center, with the aim of identifying ways to protect the wealth of family companies in the emirate and maintain their sustainability in conjunction with supporting the growth of their operations currently and in the future.
During the first half of 2025, the center also organized two activities within the “Governance Series”, and the first event dealt with a successful global experience to enhance sustainable growth through generations for family companies, while the second event focused on ways to build a sustainable legacy for the future of family companies.
Within the framework of the program to rehabilitate the next generation of family companies, the center organized a training seminar to enhance the skills of generosity of obstetric intelligence orders in the second grade of family companies.
