"Federal National" The American Embassy in the country is looking to enhance joint parliamentary cooperation

Abu Dhabi, August 12 / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al -Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defense, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee at the Federal National Council, met in the capital Abu Dhabi, Mrs. Ann Slak, political affairs advisor, and a number of officials at the United States Embassy to the United Arab Emirates.

During the meeting, it was emphasized on the durability of bilateral relations and the established strategic and distinguished partnership between the UAE and the United States of America in various fields, which date back to more than five decades, where the cooperation paths witnessed an accelerated development in the fields of economy, investment, energy, defense and security, in a way that keeps pace with the aspirations of the leaders and peoples of the two friendly countries, and serve their common interests.

The meeting also discussed the most prominent developments in the political situation in the region and the world, and the bilateral efforts made by the two friendly countries to enhance the paths of development, peace and regional and international stability.

The two sides stressed the need to enhance joint parliamentary cooperation by activating the tools of parliamentary diplomacy, to build bridges of cooperation and activate diplomatic dialogue between peoples, and to enhance active partnerships with countries that influence regionally and internationally, in a way that contributes to supporting political efforts aimed at achieving global security and stability.
