The UAE is implementing the 69th air landing of aid and enters about 500 tons of food to Gaza.
Abu Dhabi, August 12/ WAM/ The United Arab Emirates continues its humanitarian support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Today, the UAE carried out the 69th air landing process for aid within the “Birds of Goodness” operation, which is affiliated with the “Faris 3” operation, in cooperation with the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and with the participation of Germany, Italy, Belgium and France.
The shipment carried quantities of basic foodstuffs, which were equipped with the support of Emirati charitable institutions and agencies, to meet the needs of the sector’s residents in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions.
Over the wild crossings, 20 trucks loaded with about 500 tons of food directed to the people entered through the wild crossings, as part of the continuous Emirati efforts to secure vital supplies by land and air.
The total aid – which was lowered by air – has reached more than 3924 tons of various aid, including food and necessary supplies, confirming its steadfast commitment to the support of the Palestinian brothers and enhancing their resilience.
These initiatives reflect the pioneering role of the Emirates in the field of international relief action, by mobilizing regional and international efforts and consolidating the tender approach to alleviate the suffering of those affected in crisis areas.
