“Dubai Roads” begins the implementation of traffic improvements at the intersection of Nad Al -Hamar

The Roads and Transport Authority began implementing a new path for vehicles coming from Ras Al -Khor Street towards the intersection of Nad Al -Hamr, near the Nasser bin Lootah Mosque, and a length of 850 meters, in addition to the expansion of the storage leak at the intersection of Nad Al -Hamar for the vehicles coming from the side of Rabat Street in the direction left to Nad Al -Hamr.
This step comes within the framework of the authority’s endeavor to meet the needs and aspirations of the population, and within its continuous efforts to develop the road network on the vital axes, as these improvements will contribute to reducing pressure on traffic coming from Ras Al -Khor and Rabat streets towards the intersection of Nad Al -Hamar.
These traffic solutions are part of the rapid improvements of 2025, specifically the improvement plan for the summer of 2025, which is scheduled to be completed at the end of this month, which aims to enhance the flow of vehicles and traffic safety movement, and to improve the efficiency of the local road network in the region, which contributes to improving daily movement and quality of the population, and achieving the goals of the authority in global leadership for easy and sustainable movement.
The new track will raise the intersection of Nad Al -Hamar, the capacity of vehicles from 4800 to 6400 vehicles per hour, by up to 33%, which reduces the flight time from 15 minutes to 11 minutes, thus raising the flow of traffic traffic in the direction leading to Nad Al -Hamar by up to 27%, especially during the evening peak period. The storage leak also contributes to the intersection of Nad Al -Hamar for vehicles coming from the side of Rabat Street in the direction left to the area from reducing the waiting queues on the intersection, and thus the flow of vehicles in the direction to Ras Al -Khor Street.
The new expansion serves the vehicles heading to the Nad Al -Hamr region and its neighboring areas, in particular the Rashidiya, Al -Qusays, and Dubai International Airport, which contributes to enhancing the connection between residential neighborhoods and vital facilities, and supports traffic efficiency of vehicles on the main and internal road network.
