A coordination meeting between the Emirati rescue team with the Albanian side to enhance joint efforts

The Emirati rescue team held a coordination meeting with a number of Albanian officials, to enhance cooperation between the two sides in the fire extinguishing process in a number of sites in Albania.
The Emirati rescue team arrived in the Republic of Albania last Monday, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, to support efforts to extinguish forest fires in the Republic of Albania, where the meeting resulted in the Emirati rescue team provided full support to the Albanian side in its implementation of the task to save lives and property.
The team has implemented 8 flights so far for fires affected by fires in the Qarmash areas and its adjacent areas, during which 38 drops were dropped for more than 71 thousand kilograms of water in a humanitarian duty towards the friendly Albanian people.
For their part, a number of Albanians officials stressed during the meeting their appreciation of the United Arab Emirates and the rational leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him” in standing next to the Republic of Albania in the current situation, and officials also praised the Emirati staff in charge of the rescue operation in Albania and with the high professionalism in dealing with fires that had a great impact on the speed of completion.
