"Emirates Fatwa" He reviews his experience in employing artificial intelligence in the fatwa

Cairo, August 13/ WAM/ The Emirates Legal Fatwa Council participated in the conference “The Rashed Mufti Industry in the era of artificial intelligence” organized by the General Secretariat of the role and advisory bodies of the world in Cairo.

The Council’s delegation conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the scholar Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayh, the head of the council, and his wishes for the conference to reconcile and achieve active outputs that enhance the mild legal fatwa message.

His Excellency stressed the importance of the role of the conference in developing the Fatwa system, stressing the need to join global efforts to achieve institutional institutional jurisprudence, and to provide a fatwa characterized by moderation and flexibility, and supports stability and the values of citizenship and comprehensive development.

The participating delegation included His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Vice -President of the Council, Dr. Saba Salem Al -Kaabi, Secretary -General of the Debt, His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al -Dhaheri, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz Al -Haddad members of the Council.

The delegation participated in the conference sessions and workshops that dealt with the dimensions of artificial intelligence and its applications in the fatwa industry, and ways to harmonize technical developments with legal principles and national considerations.

His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai stressed the importance of fortifying the advisory system from fragility, and preparing for the challenges of artificial intelligence with institutional approaches that preserve the legal principles, and prevent the exploitation of the fatwa in extremism or ideology, while using technical expertise and building safe and reliable databases.

Dr. Saba Al -Kaabi pointed out that the conference represents an important platform for exchanging experiences on ways to employ artificial intelligence techniques in institutional fatwa, stressing that the digital revolution imposes the adoption of a moderate methodology that keeps pace with developments and preserves the originality of the Fatwa message.

The council also presented a scientific paper delivered by Dr. Ahmed Al -Haddad on the qualifications of the Modern Grand Mufti in light of technical transformations, as well as a visual presentation of the council’s experience in using artificial intelligence through the digital platform for Fatwa Services, which provides integrated services to receive the requests of the respondents and manage fatwas according to the highest standards of cybersecurity and quality.

The participation of the Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa comes within the framework of its efforts to enhance cooperation with international Fatwa institutions and exchange experiences, in a way that contributes to providing moderate legal advice that keeps pace with the requirements of the times and preserves national interests.
