415 million dirhams net profits during the second quarter

Air Arabia announced the registration of strong financial and operational results, during the second quarter and the first half of 2025.
And “Air Arabia” recorded a net profit of 415 million dirhams during the second quarter, ending on June 30, 2025, while the company’s revenues reached 1.69 billion dirhams, an increase of 2%, compared to the revenues of the second quarter of last year, and the company transferred on its fleet more than 5.1 million passengers, between April and June 2025, through all its operating operations centers, an increase of 15%, compared With 4.5 million passengers, they were transferred during the second quarter of last year, while the rate of occupancy of the seats (the number of passengers to the number of seats available) increased by 6%to 85%, and “Air Arabia” recorded during the first half (from January to June), net profits of 770 million dirhams, an increase of 11%, compared to 693 million dirhams that were recorded during the first half of 2024.
The company’s revenues during the first half amounted to 3.44 billion dirhams, an increase of 8%, compared to 3.19 billion dirhams that were registered in the first half of the previous year, and the company provided its services to more than 10.1 million passengers between January and June 2025, starting from all its operating centers, an increase of 13%.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Air Arabia”, said: “The strong performance recorded by the company during the second quarter of this year reflects the effectiveness of the business model that we follow, and our success in implementing our ambitious strategy for growth.”
He added: «Despite the escalating geopolitical tensions and the regional conflict that the region witnessed during this period, and the disturbances in the air travel movement and the cancellation of a number of trips, and the direct impact of the operational performance, we have dealt with these exceptional circumstances with flexibility and efficiency, and we continued to invest in increasing the operational capacity through all our operating centers, to achieve a record rate in the occupancy rate of seats, paid With strong and continuous demand for air travel.
He added: «The first half of this year witnessed a remarkable expansion in the operations of (Air Arabia), by launching new destinations, increasing the number of flights in the main markets, and strengthening the fleet with additional planes, which contributed to the expansion of the company’s network and the company’s destinations, raising the capacity, and improving the offers provided to customers.
He concluded by saying: «During the second half of the year, we will continue our focus on expanding our network and destinations and entering new markets, as well as enhancing operational efficiency and innovation, and we remain committed to providing a distinguished travel experience and achieving sustainable growth that guarantees long -term returns for our shareholders.
