Ghada Adel, the star of “Hurghada Festival for Youth Cinema 2025”

The management of the “Hurghada Festival for Youth Cinema” chose the Egyptian star, Ghada Adel; To honor it at the opening ceremony of the third session of the festival, which will be held between 25 and to September 30.

According to the festival director, the scriptwriter, Mohamed El -Basousi, the honor of Ghada Adel comes; In appreciation of her rich artistic career, and her works that left a clear imprint in Egyptian cinema and drama, as she contributed to the emergence of generations of young talents at the level of writing, acting, photography and directing, such as: “Saidi at the American University”, “Abboud on the borders”, and “55 ambulances”, then the stage of development in her career through the movie “In the Apartment of Heliopolis”, in which she won a number of local and international awards in it Throughout her artistic career, she was able to reserve for herself a distinguished position thanks to her diverse talent and performance.

Ghada Adel is one of the stars who performed an artistic career full of successes, and she was able, with her talent and her distinguished presence, to be the most prominent stars on the Egyptian cinema screen in recent years.

For her part, the artist Ghada Adel expressed her great happiness with this honor, confirming that it carries her special value; Being from a festival that cares about the youth cinema and is held in a charming city like Hurghada, and she said: “I feel proud to be part of an event that combines art and creativity in a place that reflects the beauty of Egypt and its magic.”

The festival seeks to present new and distinguished films that reflect the diversity of cinematic schools, and to give the public a rare opportunity to discover promising youthful productions.

The organizational regulations of the “Hurghada Festival for Youth Cinema” require that the participating film be the first or second directing experience of its maker, or to deal with a case related to youth, and in general production: 2024, or 2025.

The festival aims to support young voices in the field of cinema, and to provide a vital platform to express new ideas and visions, through its various competitions and accompanying activities that highlight the experiences of young cinematographers from inside and outside Egypt.

The third session includes four main competitions: “Long Film Competition”, “Short Film Competition” and “Student Film Competition”, along with “Green Award competition” that is granted to the best movie that reflects the topic of environmental preservation.

The vision of the “Hurghada Festival for Youth Cinema” starts from the fact that the films and the novel of the visual stories are strong tools and a way that can make a positive change in the world. By enabling young creators now, the festival aims to create a new generation of creative leaders and filmmakers. Providing space for meeting and consulting on the global topics of tales, myths and stories that bring us together.
