Mohammed bin Rashid Library participates in a global conference in Kazakhstan

Dubai, August 14 / WAM / The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library participates for the second time in the activities of the 89th session of the World Library and Information Conference, which will be held in the Kazakh capital, Astana, from August 18 to August.

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Mazrouei, member of the Board of Directors of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation, said that participation is an opportunity to enhance international cooperation frameworks and review the library experience as a pioneering model in digital transformation and cognitive inclusion through innovative solutions that mix technology and society’s needs to ensure all groups reach knowledge easily and effectively.

On the sidelines of the participation, the library team sheds light on the Dubai International Library and Publishing Summit that will be held in October 2025 under the slogan of the future of the publishing industry, with the participation of a group of decision -makers, publishers and experts from all over the world.

It also provides a glimpse of qualitative initiatives, including a world in your language to translate books into multiple languages and remove cultural barriers, and the initiative of a world that has reached more than a quarter of a million students in state schools, in addition to presenting the latest library technology and services.
