Jordan condemns the continuous Israeli attacks on Jerusalem Christians and restricts them
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned, in the strongest terms, the continuous attacks of the Israeli occupation authorities on Christians in Jerusalem, the latest of which is the decision to freeze bank accounts of the Orthodox Roman Patriarchate, and considered that these measures represent a flagrant violation of the historical and legal status in Islamic and Christian holy sites in the occupied city. The spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs – in a press statement this evening, Saturday – the Kingdom’s absolute rejection of these illegal measures, stressing that the attacks and violations carried out by Israel in Palestinian cities and its sanctities in occupied Jerusalem clearly violates the provisions of international law and international humanitarian law, and that Israel does not have any sovereignty over the West Bank or its Arab Islamic sanctities Christianity.
