Trump: China agreed not to supply weapons to Iran

The American President said Donald Trump Wednesday The Chinahas agreed not to supply Iranwith weapons, and that he received personal assurances of this from President Xi Jinping.
Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social. "They have agreed not to supply weapons to Iran. President Xi will give me a warm hug when I get there in a few weeks"referring to his scheduled summit with Xi in Beijing on May 14 and 15.
In a separate interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business that aired on Wednesday, Trump said that his Chinese counterpart promised him "Basically" By not supplying weapons to Iran.
He said "I heard that China is supplying weapons to Iran, and you see it everywhere"he added "I wrote him a letter asking him not to do it, and he wrote me a letter basically saying he didn’t do it"
