The Emirati rescue team continued its efforts to put out forest fires in a number of regions in the Republic of Albania in coordination with the specialized authorities, within the continuous support of the UAE for international humanitarian tasks, and to enhance the rapid response to natural disasters around the world, reflecting its firm humanitarian approach based on solidarity and international cooperation. The team intensifies its field operations, which comes within the framework of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, using the latest equipment to ensure control of fire and prevent its renewal. The UAE has started its operations to extinguish the fires since last Tuesday after the arrival of the participating aircraft and the specialized team on Monday, as dozens of weather sorties carried out thousands of kilograms of water to help extinguish the fire and prevent their spread.
