Infantino condemns what happened in the German Cup

The President of the International Football Association (FIFA) condemned the Swiss Jani Infantino, the racist abuse Sunday during two games in the first round of the German Football Cup.
Infantino said in a statement issued on Monday that what happened is unacceptable, adding, “I repeat and I will continue to do so. There is no place for racism in football,” in a comment on the suspension of the Schalke (second degree) match and its host Lokomotiv Leipzig (fourth degree) Sunday after the racist insults that affected the Ghanaian guest’s wing Christopher Antoi-Adji by the landowners’ fans.
An advertisement was issued via the amplifiers on the field, condemning the racist abuse, and then after resuming the match, the wing was exposed to frequent booing shouts from the fans of the host team, prompting Lokomotiv Leipzig to make an apology later.
A player from Kaiserslalower (second degree) claimed that he was subjected to racist abuse from a fans of the host RS in Eintracht (fifth degree) during the same round of the cup competition.
Infantino stressed that FIFA will continue to monitor these incidents closely, “and promised to cooperate with the German Football Association” in combating racism. “
This comes after Friday, the opening match of the Premier League between the defending champion Liverpool and its guest and Bournemouth in the 29th minute as a result of racist insults against Ghanaian guest player Antoine Siminho.
The fan, who uttered these racist insults from the “Anfield” stadium on Friday, then stopped by the police the next day.
The police released him after that, but prevented him from attending any official football match in the United Kingdom, and imposed on him not to approach a soccer field in one mile (1.6 km).
“It is absolutely unacceptable that racist abuse in football matches will occur for the second time in recent days,” Infantino, who also issued a statement after the Siminho incident.
