UAE is reviewing a project "Lifeline" During an inspection tour of journalists in Khan Yunis

Gaza on August 19/ WAM/ The “Al -Faris 3” operation organized a field inspection tour for journalists and specialization, after the arrival of the “Lifestyle” project to the southern regions in Al -Mawasa Yunus, one of the most overcrowded areas of the Gaza Strip with the displaced, with the aim of following up the stages of the implementation of the project, and seeing the mechanism of pumping water and benefiting affected families, especially children and the elderly.
The new water line extends for a distance of 7.5 km, starting from the Emirati desalination plants on the Egyptian side of Rafah, to the Al -Mawasi area in the southern Gaza Strip, and it is expected that about 600 thousand Palestinian citizens will benefit from this project, with a daily supply rate of 15 liters of desalinated water for each individual, which reduces the crisis of severe water shortage that the population has been experiencing for months.
The project aims to alleviate the suffering of the population resulting from the frequent interruption of water and high temperatures, while providing clean and safe water that maintains the public health of the population and reduces the daily burdens of displaced families, who have been suffering for months from the stopping of water stations and the damage of the lines in the Gaza Strip.
The “Lifestyle” project represents an extension of the previous Emirati initiatives in Gaza to alleviate the water crisis, by establishing desalination plants, providing the water department with tanks, digging wells and maintaining networks, as well as implementing urgent infrastructure projects, ensuring the continuation of humanitarian support and meeting the basic needs of the population.
