Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi chairs the meeting of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah

Sharjah, August 19 / WAM / The Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah held today its meeting chaired by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.

The meeting discussed multiple government issues with the aim of developing the government work system in the emirate, following up the performance of departments and bodies, and seeing the progress of development projects in all cities and regions of Sharjah.

The Council issued a decision to transfer His Excellency Eng. Abdul Rahman Abdullah Muhammad Al -Naqbi, Director of the Municipality of Khor Fakkan, to the Roads and Transport Authority with the same job as his job and appoint him as director of the branches management in the authority.

The Council also issued a decision to promote His Excellency Khalfan Saleh Al -Harithi Al -Naqbi, Director of Branches Department in the Department of Economic Development, to the degree of a department on the Special Job System in the Sharjah government, and his appointment as director of the municipality of Khor Fakkan.

In continuation of the development witnessed by the structures system in the Sharjah government, the Council adopted the project of the general organizational structure of the Sharjah Museums Authority, which supports the authority in performing its duties within the competencies assigned to it, directing the General Secretariat of the Council to complete the legislative session of the Temple Project.

The Council reviewed the report of the Sharjah Fish Resources Authority for the year 2024, which included the efforts of the Field Authority to carry out 25 visits to fishermen’s associations, organize 16 events, provide 11 initiatives, 138 training programs, and complete 1175 transactions for fishermen.

The report reviewed the commission’s projects, including the aquatic neighborhood farm that aims to achieve food security and the development of fish stocks, support the local economy through 10 marine cages expected to be produced about 300 tons of different types of fish annually, and the form of fish farming that aims to educate visitors and students about the fish farming mechanism.

The report also included a project to download artificial caves in the eastern coast of the Emirate of Sharjah to contribute to the development of fish stocks, protect biological diversity, study the state of the region before and after the landing, and the project of the village of Al -Sayyadin in Hamriyah, which includes an integrated set of facilities that were designed to provide the necessary support for the region’s fishermen such as boat parking, marine parking, stores, and housing that includes rooms Administrative offices and others, and a mosque for 200 worshipers.

The report included notes of the understanding and cooperation that the authority signed with scientific and governmental institutions to support research and training efforts in the fish wealth sector, and to provide the best and fastest services to fishermen.
