starting "The introductory race" The first for camels in Egypt
Al -Alamein on August 20/ WAM/ started in the field of Al -Alamein for camel racing in the Arab Republic of Egypt, the first preliminary race, within the activities of camel races for the year 2025.
The race will be held in coordination with the Egyptian Camel Federation, with the support of the Emirates Camel Racing Federation.
The events for this year include 5 races, with 4 preliminary competitions, in addition to a closing race, through 32 runs in each race, as the number of camels participating exceeded 1400 rides.
Cash prizes were allocated to the winners of the first to tenth centers in each run, to support camel races and encourage their owners, and to enhance the inheritance and authentic Arab customs.
The races are witnessing the introduction of the automatic passenger, with the aim of developing them and ensuring their sustainability, which keeps pace with the requirements of the times.
The events of camel races embody the depth of brotherly relations between the UAE and the Arab Republic of Egypt, enhance the joint Arab heritage values between them, within the framework of the continuous support of the UAE of these races, the consolidation of the leadership of camels in the Arab and international camel, preserving the original heritage, and transferring it to future generations.
Midana Al -Alamein and Sharm El -Sheikh is one of the most prominent fields of camel races in the region, where they annually embrace a series of preliminary races, up to the closing festival in December 2025 in the field of El Alamein, to preserve this ancient sport and enhance its presence in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the region.
