starting "UAE Agricultural Conference and Exhibition" In its second edition tomorrow in Al Ain, with wide community participation

Al Ain, April 21, 2017 – Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Cabinet, the activities of the second edition of the “UAE Agricultural Conference and Exhibition 2026” will begin tomorrow (Wednesday) at ADNEC – Al Ain.

This huge event, organized by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, comes as an integrated strategic platform aimed at establishing a resilient national agricultural sector, in line with the goals of sustainable national food security.

The event represents one of the most prominent efforts to support national farmers by providing new horizons for marketing their products and crops to be the first choice for consumers in various markets in the country, and linking them directly with major food industry companies, investors and innovators.

The public will be treated to a wide range of basic products and fresh crops at the farmers’ market, which highlights the quality and competitiveness of local production and its ability to meet the needs of society with the highest international standards.

Visitors will have a special experience in specialized corners within the farmers’ market, including the products of Emirati farmers, child farmers, beekeepers, and date merchants, in addition to the Halal Owners’ Tent, which displays the best types of live livestock and fish wealth, in addition to an area designated for auctions.

Hajar Bakhit Al Ketbi, Director of the Government Communications Department at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, said that the UAE Agricultural Conference and Exhibition is, at its core, a national message and an open invitation to all members of society to recall the legacy of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who instilled in us a love of the land and taught us that agriculture is the story of our survival and the symbol of our renaissance.
