Ras Al Khaimah Police announced a traffic initiative with the start of the new academic year 2025-2026, which requires a deduction of four traffic points from the balance of drivers undertaken not to commit any violations or accidents on the first school day, as part of the Ministry of Interior’s campaign “a day without accidents”.

Ras Al Khaimah Police confirmed that the initiative comes as part of an expanded field plan implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Emirates Transportation Foundation and the “Sa`d” company for traffic systems, with the aim of securing schools and educational complexes, and ensuring the flow of the movement in the most crowded points, noting that its security efforts are accompanied by the preparations of teaching cadres and school administrations to receive students, within the framework of institutional integration My community aims to ensure a smooth and safe start for the academic year and an educational environment that stimulates learning.

The Director General of Central Operations in Ras Al -Khaimah Police, Brigadier Ahmed Al -Sam Al -Naqbi, stated in a press statement yesterday that the General Police Command developed an expanded field plan in preparation for the launch of the new academic year, aimed at securing educational complexes and schools in various regions of the emirate, and ensuring the safety of students and parents during the two -legs.

He explained that the plan is based on the distribution of police patrols in a deliberate manner in front of what he described as “hot points”, which are sites that usually witness a high traffic density and congestion in peak times, especially near schools and educational complexes, and this comes within the efforts of the Ras Al Khaimah Police to provide a safe and organized traffic environment, which contributes to the flow of traffic and limits the possibilities of accidents.

Brigadier Al -Naqbi indicated that the distribution of patrols will take place according to the areas of jurisdiction of comprehensive police stations deployed in the emirate, so that the patrols are located in vital sites during the two main main periods from six thirty to eight thirty, and after noon from one thirty to 2:30, pointing out that the goal of the presence of patrols in the areas that witness traffic intensity in front of educational complexes is to regulate traffic, avoid penetration, and provide support Immediately when needed, enhancing the safety of students while moving to and from their schools.
