Emirati football .. continental and international ambitions in the new season

Abu Dhabi, August 23/ WAM/ UAE football is looking to achieve promising imprisonment during the coming period, which is witnessing several Gulf, continental, and global participation, most notably for the first national team, the Olympic national team, and the youth under 17 years, as well as clubs.
On the level of national teams, the first team is waiting for the participation in the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup Finals, through the fourth stage where the teams of Oman and Qatar meet in the first group competitions, as it qualifies directly to the World Cup, the leaders of the group.
The first national team will participate in the Arab Cup, scheduled in the Qatari capital, Doha, next December, and is present in the third group, which includes both the teams of Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait or Mauritania (who qualifies the qualifiers next November).
The Olympic national team is awaiting the participation in the qualifiers for the Asian U -23 Cup finals scheduled in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia next year, while the qualifiers will be held next September.
As for the national youth team under 17 years, it will participate in the World Cup for Youth Cup, scheduled in Doha, next November.
As for the clubs, at the Gulf level, 4 clubs will participate in the third edition of the Emirati Super Cup, during which 4 tournaments will be held, and these clubs will be determined later, as 4 clubs participated in the last version for the first time and the participating Emirati teams crowned it, as Al -Ahly youth won the challenge shield title, and Al -Nasr won the Super Cup title, and Al -Wasl won the Super Shield title, while Al -Wahda won the challenge cup title.
At the continental level, 3 clubs participate in the AFC Champions League for the elite in its new system for the second consecutive season, which is Sharjah, the champion of the last version of the AFC Champions League 2, and the youth of Al -Ahly, the ADNOC Professional League champion, and Al -Wahda, the third league table, while Al -Wasl participates in the AFC Champions League 2, all of which start next September.
Al Ain Club will participate in the Gulf Clubs Championship, which is scheduled to start at the end of next September.
Sports analyst Salem Rabie, the former coach of Al -Wasl and Al -Nasr clubs, stressed that Emirati football has the best result during the coming period in all stations participating in it.
He said, “We have a full national team, which is able to achieve the dream of reaching the World Cup World Cup for the second time, which is a great opportunity that must be preserved after the great change with coach Cosmin, whether from the technical side or in terms of using new elements.”
He added, “As for the clubs, I have prepared a distinctive way during the last period, and strong contracts that will be able to provide the true image of Emirati football in all the championships participating in it, especially in light of the achievements that were achieved last season, whether in terms of crowning Sharjah with the Champions League 2, or crowning the four -year -old Qatari Super Cup.”
Sports analyst Ahmed Hammad, former CEO of Al -Ahly Youth Club, believes that football is worthy during the new season, and the distinction will be its title in the next stage, in light of the early preparation, especially the national team that continues to work with all strength with coach Kozmin, which focuses on more gatherings in order to harmonize the players after the inclusion of a new group.
He explained that the Emirati clubs will have a major role in the next stage in the Gulf and continental in order to preserve what was reached in the last season, by crowning the UAE Super, and Sharjah won the Champions League 2.
For his part, sports analyst Ali Hamid said that Emirati football has a great opportunity to achieve excellence on the continental and international arenas, especially the first team participating in the Asian World Cup qualifiers, as the confrontation of Oman and Qatar is a great challenge and a golden opportunity to reach the finals, especially since the leader qualifies directly, which increases the enthusiasm of the players and the technical staff.
He added that the Arab Cup in Qatar is an important test for the first team against strong teams, which enhances its readiness for major competitions.
Ali Hamid considered that the participation of the Emirati teams in Asia and the Gulf championships reflects the development of the level of Emirati football, especially with the presence of clubs such as Sharjah, Al -Ahly and Al -Wahda, which has high experience and readiness to compete.
He stressed that the success of the clubs in the continental and Gulf championships reflects the strength of the Emirati league and its desire to continue to develop, and enhances the opportunities of Emirati football in achieving distinguished achievements during the next season.
