The UAE air defenses handle 6 ballistic missiles, 7 cruise missiles, and 39 drones
Abu Dhabi, March 12 / WAM / The UAE air defenses (March 11, 2026) dealt with 6 ballistic missiles, 7 cruise missiles, and 39 drones coming from Iran.
Since the start of the blatant Iranian attack, the UAE air defenses have dealt with 268 ballistic missiles, 15 mobile missiles, and 1,514 drones.
These attacks resulted in 6 deaths of Emirati, Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationals, and 131 minor and moderate cases of injury among Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bengali, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, and Comoros nationals. Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian and Indonesian.
The Ministry of Defense confirmed that it is fully prepared and prepared to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the state’s security, in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
