Korea and the United States expect 11 memoranda of understanding to cooperate in a number of major industrial sectors

Washington on August 26/ WAM/ The Republic of Korea and the United States of America signed 11 memoranda of understanding, for bilateral cooperation in a wide range of major industrial sectors, including shipbuilding, nuclear energy, aviation, liquefied natural gas and basic minerals, according to what the Korean Ministry of Industry announced today, Tuesday.
The Korean “Yonhap” news agency reported that the memoranda of understanding was signed during a round dealer meeting between the Republic of Korea and the United States in Washington on Monday, after the first summit of President Lee J. Meong with US President Donald Trump.
Kim Jong -Kwan, the Korean Minister of Industry, confirmed in a press statement that the Korean government will provide all the institutional support necessary to revive industrial cooperation between Korea and the United States, and provide extensive job opportunities for the companies of the two countries.
