Ministers and officials participate in "Emirati Women Forum"

Dubai, August 26/ WAM/ The Dubai Women Foundation, “The Emirati Women Forum”, will organize on August 28, coinciding with the passage of 10 years since the start of the celebration of “Emirati Women’s Day” launched by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Federation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation.

Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stressed that the prestigious position that the UAE has reached as a leading global model in supporting women is the fruit of wise vision and unlimited support from our wise leadership that has believed from an early age that empowering women is not an option but rather a necessity to build a prosperous and ancient country.

For its part, His Excellency Naima Al Ahly, Executive Director of the Dubai Women’s Foundation, noted the importance of the forum as a qualitative station in the initiatives of the Dubai Women’s Foundation to enhance the national supportive efforts of women .. The forum’s work agenda is filled with 10 dialogue sessions that deal with the contributions of Emirati women in various sectors, with a focus on several major axes that include the government, diplomatic work, cultural heritage, entrepreneurship, family and labor market in the government and private sectors.
His Excellency Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture, will speak in the session of “The Emirati Women’s March in Cultural Heritage” and in which he is discussed by His Excellency Hala Badri, Director General of the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai, and His Excellency Sana bint Mohammed Suhail, Minister of Family, will participate in a session “from the house the story begins: women, the family and the renaissance of the country.”
The forum will witness the organization of a session entitled “Emirates Travels, an honorable representation on the global scene”, in which each of Amna Fikry, UAE Ambassador to Finland and Estonia and His Excellency Sheikha Nasser Al -Nuwais, the Secretary -General of the United Nations Tourism Organization will be spoken.
