Fujairah Municipality organizes the “Ishraqa Watan” forum to celebrate the Emirati Women’s Day

Fujairah on August 27 / WAM / Al -Fujairah Municipality organized the “Ishraqa Watan” forum to celebrate the Emirati Women’s Day, and its journey over five decades of giving and achievement.

The forum, in the presence of His Excellency Aisha Al -Dhanhani, a member of the Federal National Council, shed light on the pioneering role of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation in supporting the march of Emirati women and enhancing her presence in various fields, to become an authentic partner in the march of development and building of the country.

The program included a visual presentation on the achievements of Emirati women, followed by a dialogue session “Ishraqa Al Watan” with the participation of a group of speakers who shed light on the leadership of Emirati women and their inspiring experiences in the fields of government, health, educational, police and societal work, and stressed that the support of the rational leadership made women an active partner in the development process.

The forum also included honoring the “Inspirations of Giving” from the Fujairah municipal employees, in appreciation of their efforts and prominent contributions to institutional work and community service, as well as honoring the participating speakers who enriched the forum with inspiring visions and experiences.

At the end of the forum, the Fujairah Municipality confirmed that the Emirati Women’s Day is not just an occasion to celebrate, but rather a renewed station for renewing the covenant and loyalty to the march of empowering women, and consolidating its position as a basic pillar in the renaissance of the country and making its future.
