63 %of the French want new elections

A poll conducted by the French Institute for the Public Opinion of the LCI TV channel revealed yesterday that about 63% of the French want to dissolve Parliament and hold new elections, while the Prime Minister, Francois Bayro, is struggling to save the minority government he is leading.

The institute surveyed 1,000 people online, on August 26.

It appears that the minority government is increasingly exposed to toppled it next month, after three main opposition parties said that it would not support Bayu in a vote on confidence.
