Noura Al -Suwaidi: Emirati Women’s Day is an important occasion to confirm its distinction in all fields

Abu Dhabi, August 28/ WAM/ The Emirates Women Sports Federation affirmed that Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Federation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, led Emirati women to achieve exceptional achievements, participate in the renaissance of the country, grow and raise it, in their pioneering role in empowering Emirati women in all sectors, especially in the sporting field.
His Excellency Noura Al -Suwaidi, General Secretary of the General Women’s Federation, President of the Emirates Women Sports Federation, said that the Emirati Women’s Day is an important occasion to confirm its distinction, development, creativity and success, and to provide a distinctive image of it to the world.
She added that the sport witnessed great successes for Emirati women as a player, administrative, wisdom, and leader for development and sustainability of creativity, and the adoption of programs that had a tangible impact on highlighting their distinctive image of the world, with the support and care of the wise leadership.
She emphasized the keenness of the Emirates Women Sports Federation to launch initiatives and various programs to improve the capabilities of Emirati women, in addition to highlighting their achievements, documenting their successes locally and abroad, and creating a sustainable database to support their excellence, in addition to cooperation with all national bodies and federations, to achieve interdependence, integration and governance between sports institutions.
His Excellency Noura Al -Suwaidi drew attention to the efforts of the Federation in cooperation with the Gulf federations, and to provide constructive suggestions, to support women in the Gulf, innovative initiatives such as the unified platform for Gulf women’s sport, continuous coordination in all events, and plans that enhance women’s empowerment and develop their competitive capabilities.
